Bait
- Fresh squid — Whole baby squid or strips. The #1 snapper bait.
- Squid head/tentacles — Tough, stays on hook. Great in berley trail.
- Whole pilchard — Hook through head or gang hooked.
- Strip baits — Bonito, tuna belly, mullet fillet. Tough and oily.
- Live yakkas — Premium bait for big snapper. Hook behind dorsal.
