Any pocket in the rocks where weed grows thick Thick cabbage weed growth is food for luderick. They graze these patches like sheep in a paddock. The thicker the weed, the more fish congregate. LOOK FOR: Dark green weed growth on submerged rocks.
The end of the walls where current creates eddies Where the training wall deflects tidal current, calmer pockets form. Luderick school in these eddies out of the main current flow, feeding comfortably. LOOK FOR: Calmer water downstream of the wall end with swirling current.
